Kernile was established in 2013 as an Egyptian Dutch joint venture with in-house experience of over 30 years in peanut farming, processing and export. Kernile has previously been financially sponsored by the Dutch government due to its innovative business model and social impact on farmers and producers in Egypt and across Africa.

Kernile’s new peanut shelling and processing plant is the first of its kind in the African continent with state-of-the-art equipment and 35,000 tons processing capacity, qualifying the company to be the largest primary peanut processor in Middle East and North Africa region. Kernile business model and corporate culture is highly entrepreneurial and the company is positioned for significant growth in Africa and globally.

The European office is managing logistics, sales, customer service, and warehouse operations in Europe on behalf of Kernile Egypt office. Lavara Production Facility has latest technology available thanks to our partnership with state-of-the-art equipment manufacturers globally. Lavara's production facility could process up to 20,000 tons of nuts per annum.

Salem Group Farming is a specialized grower of conventional and organic row crops. Cultivation and growing processes are entirely managed from seeds selection till post-harvest storage to ensure full traceability and extra control over product quality. 

An excellent team of in-house farmers and Agronomists are working together to make sure that our produce meets the specifications of domestic and international markets year after year.
